Promo codes for launches, campaigns and customer offers
Use a short prefix such as LAUNCH or WELCOME to organize a product launch, referral campaign or customer offer. Random suffixes help distinguish codes in each batch. Keep a record of codes from previous batches: uniqueness is checked within the current batch, not across all campaigns.

Is this promo code generator free?
Yes. Generate, copy and export codes without an account or payment.
Does generating a code create a working discount?
No. This tool generates strings only. Your checkout platform must associate each code with an offer, eligibility, expiration and redemption limits before customers can redeem it.
Are generated promo codes unique?
Every code in a generated batch is unique. Separate batches and other platforms are not checked against one another.
How do I make a code work only once?
Set a redemption limit in your commerce platform. You may also need a customer-level limit to prevent one customer redeeming multiple different codes. Unique strings do not enforce those rules.
How long should a promo code be?
Choose 8, 10, 12 or 16 random characters, with an optional campaign prefix. The complete code can contain up to 32 characters. Longer random parts make codes harder to guess.
Can I use these codes for subscription discounts?
That depends on your checkout platform. After generating the strings, configure the discount amount, duration and eligible subscriptions in your platform. See Waffo Pancake’s discount features for supported options.
